Lovely check In staff, we were in room 118, very nice, dated but that's what makes the hotel unique, breakfast was good apart from freezing cold fried eggs? My husband questioned this, they removed those eggs and brought out fresh hot ones, should never of hwpoebed though. The pizza we were given in the coach house was a disgrace, there was absolutely NO CHEESE they tried to hide this fact by pouring bechemal sauce on large blobs over the pizza, I complained and was given a SMALL DISCOUNT, SHOULD NEVER OF BEEN CHARGED, if there was no cheese left at 815pm then say so!!! Don't con customers, not good for the hotels reputation. Coach house avoid totally, Fishers is a nice hotel and right in the middle of town. Thanks Tracey and Stephen Murphy

Breakfast was lovely. Room itself was comfortable. However, although we asked for rooms close together, we were in a room on the 3rd floor while our friend was on ground floor(as requested). She is disabled and was happy with her room but it would have been better if the rooms had been closer. I was uneasy that our room was at the highest point of the hotel with no nearby stairs or means of escape in case of an emergency. We are in our 80s which staff did not know when we booked - not their fault! They were very cheery and courteous and we did enjoy our stay.

The staff were fantastic so friendly and helpful especially the young Indian receptionist who came and showed us to our room. I have mobility issues and the staff Including the restaurant staff went out their way to help me to a suitable table. The location of the hotel is 1st class you leave the hotel straight onto the main street. The parking for disabled badge holders was right outside the main entrance of the hotel which was superb for anyone with mobility problems. The weather was fantastic which made it an amazing couple of days.

Really everything after booking in. The room we got initially was not as we had expected when booking. I had requested a ground floor room with easy accessible shower .The room given to us was on the 1st floor (151). I called back to reception and after informing them it was not what we had expected -it featured a bath with shower over which was unsuitable for my wife . The receptionist responded in a most pleasant and helpful manner and checked availability of a more suitable room. We were offered room 4 on the ground floor .Perfect.

I really wanted to stay in a castle like hotel during my Scottland trip. I have read very diverse reviews, but except some minor things I really enjoyed this hotel. Small, but clean single room, including a spacious and very comfy bed, and beutiful view over the peacfull and green inner yard from my window. I had the best breakfast here during my Scottland trip, also beautiful breakfast room with mediavel decoration, paintings. I travelled during shoulder season (April) so I easily get an onsite parking place without any extra charges.
